Founded in 2019, La Cabane is a charitable organization offering a creative family space with the mission of enabling children to learn by leading meaningful lives, surrounded by their families and communities.

In this year of great environmental challenges, all of La Cabane’s activities will revolve around climate action.

Climate action encompasses all the steps we take to attenuate climate change and reduce its impact. This means making conscious decisions to reduce our carbon footprint by adopting sustainable lifestyles, promoting renewable energies and encouraging environmentally-friendly policies and behavior, in order to preserve our planet for future generations.

The La Cabane team believes it is essential to involve children in climate action from an early age in order to :

1. Develop an early understanding of environmental issues, encouraging them to adopt responsible behavior from an early age.

2. Encourage empowerment in the face of eco-anxiety, by explaining to children how they can help protect the environment. In this way, children can acquire the skills they need to become engaged citizens today!

3. Contribute to create a cultural shift where sustainability and environmental preservation are central values, which can have a positive long-term impact on collective behavior. By reaching out to children, we also reach out to their families, extending the impact of the program beyond individual participants.
