Fall for Dance North Festival Inc. is a not-for-profit organization and registered charity. We rely on the incredible and continued generosity of our donors to bring the best dance from across Canada and around the world to Toronto and make it accessible to everyone.

Fall for Dance North is a commitment to support the professional dance community. 

The festival, occurring annually in the fall, celebrates dance by launching the performing arts season and opening conversations about dance that will continue in theatres, studios and households throughout the year.

FFDN nurtures the dance audiences of the future. Signature Programme tickets at $25 or less for any seat invite everyone to join in the festival and experience professional dance that is diverse in culture and dance lineage, reflecting the city of Toronto itself.

FFDN supports the creation of new work by investing in new commissions annually. FFDN mentors mid-career artists through our Artist-in-Residence program, which offers the opportunity to expand their skills through creation, curation and community engagement. 

FFDN educates the next generation with student matinees, free workshops and educational programs that encourage active learning. Partnerships with the Creative School at Toronto Metropolitan University and Canada's National Ballet School connect dancers on the cusp of professional careers with renowned Canadian and international choreographers and companies. 

FFDN believes in the ability of the arts to fulfil its role in building vibrant communities, inspiring people to live more emotionally rich and joyful lives, and improving mental health and a sense of community wellbeing.
