Family Services is a non-profit organization that focuses on supporting families through transitions such as separation, divorce or restructuring their family relationships. All donations go towards providing accessible and affordable services using fees on a sliding scale based on household income. Our programs include counselling for children (ages 4 and up), youth, adults, couples, and families. Additionally, we help families navigate transitions by offering separation and family-law support, helping individuals understand legal processes, navigate mediation or court pathways, and receive emotional and practical guidance during separation or divorce. We also offer mediation services to help former partners resolve parenting, financial, and family-law issues collaboratively, helping to reduce conflict and legal costs. Finally, our work includes the “Caught in the Middle” program, an 8-week psychoeducational group that supports children and parents experiencing high-conflict separation.
