FEED THE NEED IN DURHAM - NOURISHING OUR COMMUNITY
For over a decade, Feed the Need in Durham (FTND) has remained at the forefront of Durham Region’s response to food insecurity.
FTND is the central emergency food distribution hub for the Durham Region, collecting, rescuing, procuring, and distributing over 2 million pounds of food and household essentials annually to 70 community food programs. These partners include local food banks, emergency meal programs, shelters, in-school nutrition programs, and social service organizations throughout the Durham Region.
Through FTND's coordinated network, we provide over 2 million meals annually to community members, ensuring reliable access to nutritious food for vulnerable individuals.
