Our Mission
The FESTIVAL INTERNATIONAL DE LANAUDIÈRE is an event of international scope having as prime objective the promotion and diffusion of classical music. Within the context of this musical celebration, the Festival offers a wide range of musical events meeting the tastes of a large audience : recitals, opera nights, baroque music and occasionally, the creation of new works. The Festival has adopts a strategy based on excellence and wishes to present make widely accessible the most renowned artists and young artists with most promising careers.
About FESTIVAL INTERNATIONAL DE LANAUDIERE INC
Less than an hour, northeast of Montreal, the Lanaudière Festival is the most highly-acclaimed classical music festival in Canada. Thousands of music lovers flock to the outdoor Fernand-Lindsay Amphitheatre,sitting under the roof, or picnicking on the sloping lawn to hear major symphonic orchestras and internationally renowned soloists. Concerts are also held in the magnificent historic churches of the Lanaudière region. More than 25 wonderful concerts and a wide range of tourist activities are available from July to the beginning of August.
