FIRST Robotics Society (FRS) is the name of our registered charitable organization that also operates under the name of FIRST Alberta. It was founded in 2013 when FIRST Robotics Competition event came to Alberta.
FIRST Robotics Society is partnered with FIRST HQ, the world’s leading youth-serving non-profit that is advancing STEM education, as a ‘Program Delivery Organization’ for all FIRST programs in Alberta. Our main role is to oversee/coordinate events, and grow the programs locally. We’re your advocates to FIRST HQ, making sure you have the support and resources you need.
