In our vision statement, we’ve recognized that we are “Called to be God’s people of healing and hope.” We’ve identified 4 primary ways we’re working at this. We aim:
- to be strengthened at our core (Ephesians 3:16)
- to receive the stranger with generosity (Matthew 25:31-43)
- to attract and invite people to a life of faith in Christ (Matthew 28:19-20)
- to engage in the task of reconciliation in the world (2 Corinthians 5:18)

All this means that, at FMC, we hope you’ll find yourself at home among a welcoming, caring, group of people, who come from diverse cultural, racial, socio-economic and religious backgrounds, including many who did not have a Mennonite upbringing.
