First-St. Andrew's United Church has stood at the corner of Waterloo Street & Queens Avenue since 1868, one short year after the Confederation of Canada.
Our roots "At the Heart" of London go even deeper to November 11th, 1832 when Rev. William Proudfoot delivered his first sermon. Proudfoot's diaries and biographers paint a picture of a radical, progressive thinker with a big dream.
We are his legacy. For 180 years this Church Family has examined and kept alive his values and his vision for God's church in London, in Canada and throughout the world.
