We are an inclusive, open and progressive community of faith within the liberal Christian tradition. We aspire to live out God’s call by our actions, day to day. Donations can be made to “General Ministries” to help support the areas most in need or can be designated for specific missions as described below.
Benevolent Fund – Specific fund to help local people in need
Food Security Programs – Designated fund to support Fish Creek United Church programs helping people in the community with food security issues
Malawi Water Project – Operates now as their own charity but was originally managed through Fish Creek United Church. The Project provides clean water to villages in rural Malawi by teaching the construction of the biosand water filters and teaching proper sanitation and hygiene. Funds can be donated directly to the Malawi Water Project or through Fish Creek United Church. Any funds donated to Fish Creek United Church for this purpose are passed on to the Malawi Water Project.
