At Focus on Nature, we inspire young people to explore and connect with the natural world through photography, fostering creativity, curiosity, and environmental stewardship. We dream of a world where all children feel connected to nature, empowered by creativity, and inspired to care for the planet.
Our core program consists of full-day workshops delivered in grades 3 to 11 classrooms by teams of trained workshop leaders across Southern Ontario. Our workshops reach out to a diverse group of young people, encouraging them to get outside and open their eyes to the beauty and complexity of the natural world, using the camera as a creative tool.
