Our Mission
Faced with a lack of public financing, the Foundation was created in 1986 to provide financial support to Carrefour pour Elle, a shelter for women with children victims of domestic violence. The funds are used to maintain and develop services such as individual and group counselling, providing awareness workshops on domestic violence to schools and disadvantaged population as well as conduct activities with sheltered children.
Carrefour pour Elle is the first shelter opened in Quebec in 1975, dedicated to women and children victims of domestic violence.
