Through its awareness-raising programs, Jeunes en Tête Foundation prevents psychological distress in 11- to 18-year-olds.
Our mission
The mission of the Fondation Jeunes en Têteis to prevent psychological distress in young people aged 11 to 18 in Quebec. We accomplish this mission by providing teens, their parents, and school staff with online tools and awareness workshops in schools. Destigmatize, raise awareness and empower, this is what we do every day to help the next generations face life’s challenges.
Our action
We organize free school workshops across Quebec province and create online tools for teens, their parents, and school staff. Every year, our team meets over 50,000 teenagers and teaches them to better understand and manage their emotions, recognize symptoms of depression, speak out about their distress, and reach out for help. We also reach over 200,000 adults through our online tools (articles, mental health newsletter, online conferences, podcasts, etc.), thus creating a safety net for distressed teens.
