The Light of Mathematics and Science Foundation is a charitable organization whose mission is to encourage educational success in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) for youth diversity in Quebec and to prevent students experiencing difficulties from dropping out of school. In our modern society, we believe that education is a solution for the future for these young people. Our humanitarian approach revolves primarily around three pillars:
- Reducing the school dropout rate and rewarding student perseverance
- Encouraging educational success for young people in STEM
- Offering scholarships to students who, despite difficult circumstances, have persevered to succeed in their school year.
An Engineering-Robotics-Coding camp, school conferences focused on academic success, scholarships that reward persevering young people and a tutoring program to help children from single-parent families are a reflection of some of our strategic actions that are implemented to achieve our objectives.
