Quebec Veterans Foundation

about

WHY support the Foundation ?

The Quebec Veterans Foundation  (QVF) strongly believes that the men and women who have served our country should all feel pride and be able to continue to contribute to their communities in the context of their civilian lives.

They have represented our Canadian values around the world, providing assistance to vulnerable people, safety to those at risk, and showing empathy and comfort to stigmatized people.

The Foundation considers it a great privilege to be able to help them on a daily basis.

WHAT DOES the Foundation DO ?

The QVF supports essential programs dedicated to veterans who face significant challenges as they transition to civilian life. Our main actions are related to operational stress injuries - physical and mental stress, homelessness, addiction and suicide issues.

The Foundation also funds therapeutic, social and commemorative programs for veterans of the Second World War and the Korean War, living in long-term care at Ste. Anne's Hospital.

HOW does the Foundation operate?

The QVF coordinates support and services for veterans who are patients or residents at Ste. Anne's Hospital by investing in activities and services dedicated to long-term care, mental health, pain management and wellness.  The Foundation works closely with local, provincial and national organizations that provide direct and concrete services to veterans.

The Quebec Veterans Foundation is managed by a Board of Directors and is independent from Ste. Anne’s Hospital. It is registered as a charitable organization with the Canada Revenue Agency and Revenue Quebec.,
