The FACE School Foundation objectives :

*Maintain and enrich the school’s arts program.

*Maintain and support the high standards of it’s diverse and tuition-free extra-curricular activities such as its Junior and Senior FACE Young Singers Choirs, Jazz and Blues Bands, Chamber Orchestras and Full Symphony Orchestra, studio arts presentation, film festival, sports.

*Suppport special school projects.

*Create a scholarship for students from low-income families.

*Stop the annual increase in student fees, so that FACE will remain accessible to ALL students

With over 50 years of outstanding artistic achievements, FACE School’s integrated art program has served as a model for fine arts schools in North America and abroad.

AN ARTS-ORIENTED PUBLIC SCHOOL

FACE STANDS FOR:FINE ARTS CORE EDUCATION.

FACE offers an integrated arts program, from pre-kindergarten to secondary 5. Art education,consisting of visual arts, drama, instrumental and vocal music which make up a third of the curriculum, is mandatory for all students.

FACE welcomes both French and English speaking students and is governed by two school

boards: the Commission scolaire de Montréal, for the French sector, and the English

Montreal School Board, for the English sector. FACE encourages co-education of the two communities.

FACE does not aim to train artists. Instead, it provides a well-rounded education that prepares the student for becoming a more creative, independent, responsible, and versatile adult,equipped for an increasingly complex society.

An income tax receipt will be sent for every donation of 20$ or more.
