Food Banks Mississauga is the largest food security organization in Mississauga. We lead a network of 60+ food programs through a hub and spoke model, working together to realize a food-secure Mississauga. This means your support goes beyond one organization to reach neighbours in need across the city! We provide healthy and appropriate food for almost 10 million meals each year to those living with food insecurity.
Your gift will help put food on the tables of neighbours in need across our city. Neighbours like Jen*, who turned to her neighbourhood food bank for the first time after a debilitating injury left her unable to work. When the unexpected happened, she knew she could turn to us to help provide her family with nutritious food for their table. Because of you, kids won’t go to school hungry, parents will not need to skip meals to pay bills, and seniors won’t be forced to choose between purchasing groceries or medicine.
