Food for Life has seen a 30% increase in people needing food in Halton due to the impact of closed workplaces in the last several weeks. To meet the greater demand for fresh produce and to ensure safety, our team is pre-packaging food for easier distribution.

Many fresh food programs are operating in parking lots or as a drive-through to keep safe our volunteers and our neighbours who need food.

Food for Life in partnership with Halton Region Community Housing has begun food deliveries directly to seniors's residences and is working with other partners to ensure students and their families have food while schools are closed.
