FOOTPRINTS 4 Autism is a charitable, not-for-profit organization dedicated to the provision of respite care for families with children and youth who have been diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in Durham region.
For many families, raising a child with Autism means being "one" 24/7. FOOTPRINTS 4 Autism's mission is to provide families with a few hours of respite each month. Staffed by trained volunteers and under the supervision of a qualified Program Coordinator, FOOTPRINTS 4 Autism can include, but is not limited to: free play, social skills, arts and crafts, story time, outdoor activities, movies and educational assistance in school-based activities. FOOTPRINTS 4 Autism provides respite, not therapy, in a safe and happy environment. FOOTPRINTS operates programs in Durham Region.
