Our Mission
The mission of the Fort St. John Firefighters Charitable society is to provide support for local families specifically those facing the high cost of travelling outside our community to receive the medical treatment they require.
We also provide support to burn survivors through education and recovery with the B.C. Fire Fighters Burn Foundation.
About us
The Fort St. John Firefighters Charitable Society was started in 2016 and is ran by the Fort St. John Professional Firefighters Local 2143. Choosing a career in the fire service means choosing a lifestyle of community service both on and off the job. We are proud to be able to carry on the time honoured tradition of supporting our community in this great city we call home.
Our charitable efforts are entirely volunteer based with our membership donating countless man hours each year. Not only do we support or our own charity, often we come alongside other community groups to help them reach their goals.
