The Forum is a Canadian charity that educates, mentors, energizes and connects women entrepreneurs across Canada to be wildly successful. At The Forum, we leave no woman behind, and are committed to ensuring all women entrepreneurs who need our help can get it. For almost 20 years, we have brought real-world business knowledge to women entrepreneurs of all business sizes, stages and industries, across the country.
Thanks to our amazing community of supporters, The Forum has been able to keep its doors open during the pandemic. Since then, we have supported over 5,000 women with education, mentorship and resources. Our work since March has included:
- Launching a webinar series covering relevant topics during COVID emergency.
- Advocating policy considerations on behalf of women entrepreneurs at the Provincial and Federal levels.
- Delivering a 5-Day Resilience Program with over 900 participants from across Canada.
- Launching a bilingual digital Sharing Platform for 700 women.
- Launching Money Moves, the first of its kind in Canada, a program to help move the dial on access to capital, with 79 participants.
- Running Know and Thrive in collaboration with SFU VentureLabs and Women Entrepreneurship Knowledge Hub to help 110 women get their financial house in order.
- Running our first-ever digital E-Series program supporting 90 women entrepreneurs.
- Continuing to match women entrepreneurs with Mentors for 1:1 support over 12 months.
- Supporting 466 women entrepreneurs who applied to Pitch for the Purse.
