About Fraser Valley Heritage Railway
In 2001 the Fraser Valley Heritage Railway Society (FVHRS) was formed to acquire, restore and operate the remaining BCER Interurban cars.
The original Fraser Valley rail line still exists in the valley from New Westminster as far East as Chilliwack.
Some adjustments to the tracks have been made in the past 50 years, but most of the original track is still there. The original BCER Fraser Valley line remains a forgotten jewel in the valley.
In 2011 we are moving from Sullivan to Cloverdale.
Starting in the Fall of 2011 we will run from Cloverdale back to historic Sullivan Station. We plan, over the next 5 years, to extend the Heritage Tourism service in Surrey from Cloverdale through Surrey and connect to the Scott Road Skytain station. In time, the rest of the line still exists to Chilliwack, which remains as a future goal.
Your assistance is greatly appreciated to return the interurban cars to the Fraser Valley line.
