Lilly Lou was surrendered to the Fraser Valley Humane Society's Feline Adoption Center as her owners knew they could not afford the medical care she so desperately needed. Lilly Lou came to us at 14 years of age. We soon found out that her medical needs were more than our non profit society could provide for her on a monthly basis, hence how our fund was created. We are happy to report that our long haired senior girl is doing well, due to monetary donations from our community, along with TLC, special food and medications. Lilly's thyroid disease and irritable bowel syndrome are well controlled & she can be found strutting her stuff around the shelter before dinner time. We have dedicated our Lilly Lou fund to help cover the costs of necessary procedures for other cats and kittens in need to help prepare them for adoption. Some of these procedures include dentistry, medical imaging (x-rays/Ultrasound), blood work, medications and specialized food.
