Criteria for Entry:
· Must have a disability – either physical or cognitive
· Must be able to stay on a horse for an entire lesson
· Family and/or friends must be able to stay for entire lesson
· Must have permission from a physician
· Must have specific goals that will improve physical, cognitive and/or psychosocial impairments
· Must display appropriate behaviour – not placing self or others at risk
· Must be able to tolerate a riding helmet for entire session
