FREEDOM’S PATH RECOVERY SOCIETY
Has been established to address addiction by providing free treatment, counselling and advocacy services to both individuals and their family members suffering from chemical and behavioural addictions to improve their quality of life, and better their functioning within their families and the community as whole.
Freedom’s Path Recovery Society provides free one-on-one addictions counselling services and group treatment workshops.
The Pathway to Freedom Workshop addresses causes, symptoms, and solutions for living with unhealthy behavioural patterns, alcoholism and addiction in all of its forms including both chemical and process.
Individuals learn to understand and begin the recovery process, through the 12 steps, in a manner that is relatable to each participant. Workshops can be tailored to meet a variety of needs. They can be held for any number of participants privately and confidentially at a location of your choice and can accommodate a variety of time schedules.
Both individual and group counselling are targeted towards those struggling with chemical & behavioural dependency. In particular, the services are geared towards people who would like to improve their:
- Connections and relationships with others
- Overall quality of life
- Ability to achieve personal development objectives
- Self-awareness
- Our open groups are held at the Wild Rose United Church in Calgary, Alberta, but can be held at an alternative location based on the interests of a particular group. One-on-one counselling is either held at the Wild Rose United Church or at an alternate location if more convenient.
- Private groups are available in order to meet ever changing needs of individuals.
