Our very busy Food Bank is an essential service in our community, and we are expecting to see a marked increase in registrations in the coming months. During this time, we are still running four Food Banks (Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Seniors Centre Maple Ridge and Katzie First Nation), and have waived the income requirements for new registrants.  We also provide the food to most of the schools in SD4 on a weekly basis with our School Meal & Snack Program benefitting more than 2500 students. Finally, through our Perishable Food Recovery Program we are sharing any extras we may have with the 20+ charities and not-for-profits in our community that are also working to eliminate food insecurity.
