Friends of Abandoned Pets officially came into being in 1992 to help abandoned, homeless cats and dogs in the Ottawa, Ontario area. While we have helped more than 3,500 animals in the community since then, our current focus is geared towards those unadoptable cats and dogs in long-term foster homes as they age and develop health issues.
