The Friends of Royal Alberta Museum Society (FRAMS) is a registered charity and not-for-profit membership organization that promotes and supports the Royal Alberta Museum, one of Canada’s leading heritage institutions and Western Canada's largest museum.
Established in 1982, FRAMS is dedicated to building a dynamic community connected to the Royal Alberta Museum by coordinating projects that foster accessibility and encourage deeper engagement with the museum.
Donated funds enable FRAMS to make a strong and positive difference at the RAM – funding initiatives like our Go! Program, which enables economically challenged Albertans to visit the museum free of charge, our paid summer internship for post-secondary Indigenous students, and the purchase of key artifacts to help the museum tell the amazing natural and human history stories of Alberta.
