The Friends promote programs, services and facilities of the Huntsville Public Library.
The Friends are a registered charity established in 1990 to promote programs, services, and facilities of the Huntsville Public Library.
What We Do
- Improve collections.
- Buy equipment such as computers, lounge chairs, gallery hangings, etc; equipment that supports the user experience in the Library.
- Provide funding for performers in partnership with the Royal Canadian Legion during March Break and Summer months.
- Provide funds for capital projects: ie. shelving, technologies, etc.
How We Raise Funds
- Sell books from the Boutique at the front of the Library
- Special book sales at Christmas and during the Spring and Summer
- Interest from investments

Meetings are held 6-8 times per year at the Library.
New members are always welcome.
