The Gabriola Historical and Museum Society is a non-profit organization.
Our goal is:
To create richly detailed exhibits to communicate Gabriola’s constantly evolving stories to our community and our visitors;
To bring together the community to discuss with relevant experts how Gabriola’s past and present will impact its future;
To preserve and protect artifacts that will illuminate moments from Gabriola’s past stories so that we can trace the links from our past to possible futures.
We depend on donations, as well as memberships, volunteers, fundraising, and grants.
We are also grateful to the RDN for providing us with tax revenue for operating costs for our building.
