Gananoque & District Humane Society (GDHS) is a volunteer run, no kill animal shelter that serves the Town of Gananoque and the Township of Leeds and Thousand Islands in Ontario, Canada. GDHS is not guaranteed any Government funding and heavily relies on donations and fundraising events.

Our building is in need of major repair. The beams supporting the building are rotting, causing shifts in the building and more structual damage. We will need to repair the damage that this has caused in addition to repairing the beams and foundation. This is a costly and necessary project that will require financial support from you, our generous supporter!

 We provide a necessary and much needed service for our Community. Without GDHS, vulnerable animals would have no where to go and animals would suffer. Our building is necessary for GDHS to continue to be in operation.
