Gavin Lake Forest Education Society is a registered charity that concentrates on getting kids outdoors for both education and recreation. We have a camp facility that we offer at subsidized rates to any youth, charitable or educational group in the Cariboo region of BC.
Our main program is a completely free outdoor education field trip that we offer to all grade 6 classes within 3 school districts (#27, #28 and #74). This is a three day trip to a forest camp where students will cycle through 6 outdoor education modules, 6 chore groups and endless free time outdoor activities.
Donations are used to fund the grade 6 school program as well as cover operational costs of running a 100 bed camp facility.
