The PEN program has a special emphasis on the challenges of STEM education in the developing world - large class sizes, scarce material resources, and the novelty of interactive pedagogies. Since its beginnings in Ghana in 2014, PEN has been consistently finding innovative means of improving its work and continually measuring performance and validating its assumptions. We encourage you to consider donating to IBG who wants to work with PEN on developing the business case and term sheet, to bring on board social impact investors, to further develop the work in Ghana and taking it to new Sub-Saharan African countries.
