The GIBSONS MARINE RESCUE SOCIETY is the fundraising arm of Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue Station 14  and is based in Gibsons, British Columbia.

RCMSAR Station 14  is on call and ready to respond to marine emergencies 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and in all types of weather and sea conditions.  Our search and rescue operations, crewed by highly trained professionals, serve an area of almost 600 square kilometres within the coastal waters of Howe Sound and the Salish Sea along BC's Lower Sunshine Coast.  To reduce the risk of boating incidents and drownings, we also promote public awareness of water safety through school outreach activities, boat safety checks, loans of PFDs for kids, and our work in community events.  All of our members are unpaid volunteers, fully engaged in supporting our communities and dedicated to saving lives on the water.
