Gleaners Foodbank (Quinte) Inc. is a local food bank in Belleville, Ontario. Gleaners believes that everyone has the right to food security and an acceptable standard of living. Therefore our mission is to provide food and resources to people who are hungry in the Quinte Region. Our vision is a community that is hungry no more.
We are more than just a food bank. We are also the Tri-County Food Warehouse, which collects and distributes over 2 million pounds of food to individuals, regional food banks, meal programs and community service agencies annually.
We've been called the greenest food bank in Canada because we promote forward-thinking, green initiatives including a fully sustainable organic garden, 72 solar panels installed on our roof and a rain harvesting system.
We distributed food hampers to over 11,000 households in 2025.
