MISSION
To disrupt the cycle of poverty by providing programs that reduce barriers and support the mental health, growth, and development of school-age children and youth in Simcoe County.
PROGRAMS
We take a holistic, proactive approach focused on prevention through a range of impactful initiatives. These include funding for psychoeducational assessments and follow-up support services (such as tutoring and behavioural support), mental health counselling, a fresh produce program, hygiene kits, and Calm H.O.M.E.S. (Healthy, Organized, Manageable, Educated, Spaces) aimed at addressing mental health and clutter. We also offer group instrumental music programs and the Simcoe Youth Choir, which have a low fee for those who can afford it and are completely free for those in need.
Since the summer of 2021, over 5,500 different children and youth have participated in one or more of our programs.
