Grace Place, located in one of the poorest areas of Thunder Bay, ON, is a street ministry that ministers to the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of our community. Our clients are the poor, homeless, and those that suffer from addictions, mental illness and the socially marginalized.  Our ministry depends on volunteers and relies on the financial donations from individuals, businesses and other organizations in order to provide free services, care and support to people in need in our community. Our free services include:

• serving approximately 1000 hot meals/week
• providing free clothing, basic needs and small household items
• distributing weekly food donations at our walk-up window
• providing access to free services/support through community partners/volunteers including street nursing, EMS health promotion/prevention care, haircuts and weekly housing supports through TBDSSAB
• offering spiritual and pastoral care to individuals struggling with addictions, prostitution, and poverty
• giving pastoral support during times of tragedy, crisis, incarceration, or hospitalization
