Our Mission
To build and maintain hiking trails in Ontario’s Grand River watershed. To help fulfill its mandate, the association actively promotes hiking on the trails.
About Grand Valley Trails Association
The Grand Valley Trail is a marked footpath stretching approximately 240 km between Rock Point Provincial Park on Lake Erie (south of Dunnville) to the village of Belwood. The Grand Valley Trails Association is a non-profit organization administered by a volunteer board of directors, elected each year at the annual general meeting.
Costs incurred to build and maintain the footpaths are covered through membership fees and donations from individuals, organizations, the private sector and community groups.
