The Greater Victoria Public Library (GVPL) proudly serves the community through 12 branches and an extensive online platform at www.gvpl.ca. Beyond our extensive print collection, we offer a remarkable range of physical resources, including CDs, DVDs, and children’s kits, along with a rapidly expanding selection of eBooks, digital music, movies, and TV.
Our branches are more than just libraries — they are vibrant community hubs offering meeting spaces, virtual workstations, children’s play zones, and quiet corners for study and reflection. Through our programs, we bring families and neighbours together, sparking a love of reading and supporting lifelong learning for all ages.
