This charity was started in 2004 by five New Westminster women with the goal of providing equipment to the Royal Columbia Hospital Emergency Room. Every year, the charity works with medical professionals to determine the Emergency Room's greatest needs. Then they work towards raising funds for the specific equipment needed. Since inception, the Group of Five has donated over $200,000 in equipment to RCH including emergency vital signs monitors, trauma care equipment, airway management equipment, and more.
