Our Mission
Since 1989, Spirale has worked in collaboration with the Oscar A. Romero community centre in Nicaragua. Our common objectives are:
1) to collect funds and find partners to finance the community centre's "human scale development" projects (community radio, natural medicine clinic, organic agriculture school-farm, library, traditional arts and crafts, various programs targeting Nicaraguan youth);
2) to organize awareness trips to Nicaragua for youth groups as well as adults in a spirit of "solidarity-based tourism" ;
3) to favor the development of fair trade.
