Groupe Harmonie is an independent, non-profit community organization dedicated to supporting people aged 55 and over who have problems with alcohol, medication or other substances.  

We serve the Peter-McGill neighbourhood of the Ville-Marie district. We offer home intervention services within the CLSC Métro territory, at our offices or in public places for people living in other areas.  

Since 1983, Groupe Harmonie has developed a unique expertise that has helped thousands of seniors overcome their difficulties, find ways to reduce or stop their use of substances, and improve their quality of life. We provide a safe and healthy environment for seniors to explore their emotions, behaviors and thoughts related to their consumption habits, while maintaining their autonomy. 

Our Mission:

- To reach out and support as many older people as possible who are struggling with substance use and want to make changes in their lives.  

- Create a safe and healthy environment for people to explore their emotions, behaviors and thoughts related to their substance use.

- Offer ways to prevent and resolve problems related to the use of psychotropic substances such as alcohol, medication or other substances.   

- Offer resources to help overcome any related difficulties encountered.  

- Raise awareness and inform the community about psychotropic drug use among seniors.
