COMPANY'S MISSION

RUBBERBAND is an organization dedicated to creation and production with the mission of supporting the research of choreographer Victor Quijada, disseminating his works, and ensuring the transmission and impact of his practice.

RUBBERBAND wishes to be recognized worldwide for its innovation in dance, its significant contribution to post-contemporary art, and for its role in the development of a new style inspired by breakdancing, classical ballet, and dance theatre.

Your much appreciated generosity will allow the company to:

- GROW. Continually expanding, the company went from 8 dancers to 10 in 2020. Starting in the fall of 2021, we hope to welcome two more.

- TRAIN. We’ll invest in the training of new emerging dancers and continue to offer them unique possibilities for perfecting their skills and developing artistically.

- ADAPT. We’re presently presenting a variety of digital workshops that focus on past works, tracing Victor Quijada’s artistic trajectory, and on the RUBBERBAND Method (the specific choreographic vocabulary developed by Victor Quijada).
