The Volunteer Guild of Victoria Hospital raises funds to support the exceptional work of Victoria Hospital, Winnipeg.
The Victoria Hospital Volunteer Guild was established in 1954 with the specific purpose of raising funds for the new hospital on Pembina Highway. Once the new hospital was opened, we kept on raising money to support the exceptional care provided at the hospital. Nearly 70 years later, we are still at it.
Some of our recent projects include funding for clothing and hygiene supplies for patients in need, pet therapy and music therapy, senior-friendly phones and hearing aid amplifiers, hip protectors for patients at risk of falls, and exercise equipment for mental health patients.
Because we are volunteer fundraisers, our administrative costs are extremely low; you can rest assured that your donations will make a difference to the patient care provided at Victoria Hospital.
