Habitat for Humanity Grey Bruce is a non-profit home builder. We BUILD houses in partnership with families, businesses and organizations who help us with volunteers, building materials or cash donations. We partner with individuals who resonate with our vision “A world where everyone has a decent place to live.”
Selected Habitat homeowners BUY the homes we build at fair market value and finance the purchase with a zero-down payment, no-interest mortgage, enabling Habitat to build more homes as those mortgage payments return to Habitat.
Our three ReStores (our social enterprise) cover overhead costs, so when a donation is made to Habitat - 100% of that donation goes directly into building homes. Every donation continually supports our mission as we REINVEST mortgage payments to help fund future BUILDS - a true gift that keeps on giving.
