What we do: We bring communities together to help families build homes, communities and hope through affordable homeownership. Through our unique model of partnership and volunteer hours, we help families build their own homes alongside volunteers and community partners.  We dont give away free homes- the families who partner with us  pay an affordable no-down-payment mortgage, geared to their income and volunteer 500 hours with Habitat for Humanity Huronia.  Our model of affordable homeownerhsip bridges a gap for lower-income families, by providing them iwht the opportunity to purchase their own home.  We offer a hand up not a hand out, empowering families to take control of their futures.   Our Restores are the perfect model for a retail outlet to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle deferring 100's of lbs from local landfills, including housewares, furniture, outdoor equipment, and building materials.  We have some great partners that now supply us with New products including clothing, shoes, housewares and season decor.     Come in to see what you can find!     Habitat for Humanity Huronia Barrie, Collingwood and Alliston Restores.Our affiliate territory is from Bradford, Innsifil, New Tec, Clearview, Collingwood, Blue Mountains, Wasaga Beach and Thornbury ON.
