The organization mobilizes volunteers and partners to build homes to provide low-income, working families with access to affordable homeownership. We partner with families who contribute 500 volunteer hours before purchasing their home from us on a no-down-payment, interest-free mortgage program. Habitat for Humanity Red Deer strives to raise awareness of the need for affordable homeownership and relies heavily on the support of volunteers, donors and local communities to build affordable homes with Habitat families. A gift to Habitat for Humanity lasts a lifetime, as each home that is built helps to fund the development of more homes in the future.
