Literacy in your community and beyond
Many adults in Haldimand, Norfolk and London have reading, writing, math and digital skills below high school level. The Haldimand-Norfolk London Learning Centres dedicated volunteer tutors and staff work with adults who need to upgrade their skills.
We provide free, confidential, small group and one-to-one tutor instruction in a classroom setting. Adults 19+
Learner centered, goal directed, self-paced, supportive learning
In Canada, 42% of adults need some help with reading and writing, 50% need help with numeracy, and 68% need help with problem-solving (Adult Literacy and Life Skills (ALL) Survey, 2005).
