The target population is from economically backward rural India. 2. HCI supports Canadian families of children with disabilities, by providing resources, guidance, and financial support. 3. Provide opportunities for Canadian graduate students in Physio and Occupational therapies to obtain 2 to 3-month placements in India with partner organizations, leading to a credit for graduation. 8 Canadian Universities are affiliated with HCI for this purpose. 4. Provide opportunities for professional therapists from Canada to offer volunteer services in India, to enhance and enrich the rehab process in India.
