Our mission is to mobilize and mentor the local churches in the poorest of the poor communities across Africa to care for orphaned and vulnerable children and their families, including communities in Malawi, Mozambique and Zimbabwe that have been affected by Cyclone Idai. Many of the families we support and are in relationship with have been affected - homes have been destroyed, crops have been lost, and now a high risk of major health challenges. These families are already extremely vulnerable. We will be supporting relief efforts in the short term (safe and secure homes, food security, basic health care, access to education) and continuing our work of building resilience in the long term.
