About HARVEST PROJECT (Change the World Foundation)
Harvest Project is a community-based urban relief organization and registered charity that "extends a hand up, not a hand out" to those finding themselves on the margins, across Metro-Vancouver's North Shore. We serve hundreds of families each month - hosting one-to-one client-care coaching, a community rent bank, grocery and clothing support programs, and Clothes for Change thrift shop.
For more than 30 years, Harvest Project has reached out to individuals and families from Deep Cove to Horseshoe Bay - helping our neighbours through family trauma, job loss, and health challenges. Our vision: to enlarge our work as a compassionate presence for North Shore residents, by North Shore residents. We’re committed to helping our community become the most inclusive, healthy and diverse small city in Canada, for all residents.
Harvest Project was founded on the core elements of dignity, respect and accountability. The heart of our mission is the Christian responsibility to love our neighbours and care for those experiencing loss or who are in need.
